Explanations of Medical Terms, Part I



And now I will provide a few translations for those readers of this blog who may be confused by some of the medical terminology I use:

Artery - the study of paintings
Cat Scan - searching for kitty
Coma - a punctuation mark
Dilate - to live a long time
Fester - quicker
Labour Pain - getting hurt at work
Morbid - a higher offer
Node - was aware of
Recovery Room - a place to do upholstery
Secretion - hiding something
Tablet - a small table

Urine - the opposite of "you're out"
Vein - conceited
